Downed Jump
It won't be easy or a straight line, But know I will be there for you
Downed Jump is based on the journey of Max, a grieving 20-something as he forays into an unknown landscape looking for a way out.
The game is an audio-visual platformer where sound plays as much as a role as sight and sometimes is the only cue available to guide you. The game is meant to be difficult and expects you to understand its cues and use its own limitations and 'glitches' to go further perhaps even exploit them to master it as you venture forth to the end...

Alright, was this supposed to be about drugs? Antidepressants? Because if it's the latter, that's a big yikes from me here. The controls aren't that good really and some jumps are not even difficult and more tedium to see when the game allows you to make them at lower jump allowance.
The game is about drugs and their addicting effect on an individual. It's about you trying to navigate a person through a problematic section of their life and trying to puppeteer their actions.
Yeah, I get that the controls and difficulty may be a bit unbalanced. The game was made originally for a jam, but due to some reasons couldn't be published in time. Hence, some issues are underlying yet in the project. Though, thank you for your feedback!
Aaaaah, I see, got it. I've just been a tad too burned on people making antidepressant out to be these death pills or something.
